December 2009 NEWS:
Join us for a Christmas Dinner and Party on Saturday, December 12th at the AFPC Hall. We will also be holding a New Year's Eve Party on December 31st. For more information or tickets, please call or email us.

October 2009 NEWS:
The AFPC will be celebrating it's 26th Anniversary on Saturday, October 10 at Our Lady of Fatima Hall starting at 7:00pm with dinner, followed by a performance by the band and folklore and then a dance. Tickets are $18 for adults and $9 for children (ages 7 - 12). Please call or email us to book your tickets.
September 2009 NEWS:
Registration for the 2009 / 2010 Music School will take place on Saturday, September 26 and Saturday, October 03 at 5:00pm at the AFPC Hall. If you are interested in joining our band and learning how to play an instrument, please come on either of these dates to get started, everyone is welcome!
If you already play an instrument and would like to join our band, please join us at our rehearsals on Saturday, September 19 and 26 or Saturday, October 03 to get started.

Saturday, June 13, 2009: Festa do Dia de Portugal (Portugal Day Party)
1. Mass at 10:00am followed by Flag Raising Ceremony (*Musicians, please meet at the Church. Uniform: Band T-shirts and jeans, bring your sports jacket too in case the weather is cold).
2. Flag Raising Ceremony at the Portuguese Society of Calgary to follow.
3. Flag Raising Ceremony at the AFPC Hall followed by BBQ lunch.
APRIL 2009 NEWS:
April 12: Boas Festas / Happy Easter! To our musicians, great job today on our first procession of the year!
April 06: Thank you to everyone who attended our annual "Festa da Primavera", it was a great success.
